Once again, this year the company allocated part of its budget, usually dedicated to end-of-year gifts, to donate on behalf of its customers and itself an amount that allows the NGO to continue fulfilling dreams of children and adolescents in Latin America.
Buenos Aires, December 18th, 2020 – Napse, a leading company in omnichannel IT solutions for retail, donated $6,000 to Make-A-Wish in Argentina, Chile, and Mexico, on behalf of itself and its customers in the region. For the second consecutive year, the company decided to redirect the budget it had allocated to the purchase of year-end presents to collaborate with this global organization that fulfills the dreams of children and adolescents in vulnerable situations.
“From Napse we decided to make this donation on behalf of ourselves and our customers,” says Marisol de la Fuente, the Marketing Manager for Napse for Latin America. “We believe that helping to fulfill the dreams of children in difficult situations allows us to give away much more than just something material these holidays,” she added.
Since its beginning in 1980, Make-A-Wish has fulfilled 500,000 wishes worldwide and 6,800 in Argentina, where it was founded in 2002. Since then, Argentinian children and adolescents between the ages of 3 and 18 have fulfilled their dream of meeting Messi, celebrating their sweet 16, going to Disney for the first time, having their first bicycle, and even installing a windmill in their patio.
“From Make-A-Wish, we know that a dream come true helps to overcome the pain, sadness, and frustration caused by an illness and its exhaustive treatments,” said Mónica Parisier, President of Make-A-Wish Argentina. “We value and greatly appreciate the support that Napse continues to offer us to help us continue to provide moments of happiness and hope to those families who need it most,” she concluded.
